The ECO coin is a currency earned through sustainable action. Eating meat-free meals, switching to a green energy provider or riding a bike to work can earn you ECOs. These can be spend in the ECO Coin marketplace to buy ecological experiences, sustainable services and circular products. This Impact Venture works with corporates, universities and governments to incentivize behavioral change and in the processes save organizations money whilst creating a sustainable culture.
DGTL is a global festival brand, with editions organized in 7 cities worldwide. It is highly aware of its environmental impacts and is considered by many experts to be the world’s most sustainable festival. All year round, DGTL searches for the latest technological breakthroughs to become even more sustainable.
The Symbioculture Farm & Complex is a personal project and longterm plan to attain self-sufficiency through new forms of symbiotic agriculture. With this modular and expanding (urban) farm, I theorized it would be possible to regeneratively grow rare native heirloom crops, edible fungi, algae, fish and insects.
Paradigm Festival is an electronic music festival in Groningen, the Netherlands. Anchored in house and techno, the festival champions sonically adventurous artists. The annually recurring festival takes place at the former Suikerunie Industrial grounds, the HQ of their sustainable ventures and developments.
With the mission of organizing an event that embodied the rave culture of the 90’s, ‘Eye Nexus Events’ and ‘Lokaal Talent Producties’ teamed up to organize and promote the Origins Event and Festival. The raves took place at an unknown and unused event location in Groningen (a venue named ‘Binnnenpret’) which was transformed to resemble a warehouse with an illegal rave vibe.
